The Build Begins

Almost two months later, dirt finally moves on the lot!

We got an electrical pole a week or so ago, but now it actually has wires hanging from it.

We were surprised that the forms had gone up because it had been raining since the last time we had driven by. Yesterday.

While we were looking at the forms, the truck pulled up to deliver the port-a-potty. Dad was mortified that I was taking a picture to document. Hey, that's a big sign when the lot finally has a port-a-potty! That means there's about to be a lot of work going on.

Here's a view of the lot from one of the top-most corners. Looks like a long way down to the street...

Little Buddy finds a way to have fun while visiting the "lot". He said he was making himself look like an Oompah Loompah... The orange sand stuck all over him. Lovely.
