Locks of Love

About 6 months ago, Bear toyed with the idea of donating her hair to Locks of Love. Her hair had gotten so long and as she was getting it trimmed one day, the idea started growing. She really didn't want to be scalped when it was cut off, so she's just been growing it. And putting off the cut. Last week was agonizing for her as she knew on Friday she would have to make a choice of a trim or a cut. We left it up to her and said if she wanted to do it next time that was fine. By Friday she had talked herself into it and was sufficiently psyched up enough to do the deed. At least she was until she watched her sisters' faces and listened to her sylist hyperventilate as the scissors separated the LONG braid from her head...
