The Almost-Didn't-Make-It Dance Recital

Little Girl caught the stomach bug and started us all down that road just before Christmas. And the night before her winter dance recital. She (and mom $$$) were so bummed to have to miss the Saturday night performance because she was supposed to tap that night as well as take part in the big "Nutcracker" performance. So much for that wasted costume... (She's set for Halloween next year!)

By Sunday afternoon, she was much better and was able to dance her "angel" part in the "Nutcracker". Her class partnered with one of the older classes so it was fun seeing her dance with some of the bigger girls. She was a bit unsure at times since she had missed the on-stage rehearsal as well as the first performance, but true to "Little Girl", she plugged right along with a happy and serene look on her face and just danced away. She had fun. That's what Little Girl does...


She managed at least one "pose" for mom's camera.
